The DHS Strings Tutoring Program, sponsored by the DHS-Holmes Orchestra Boosters, is a student-led tutoring program open to Elementary Strings and Jr High School Orchestra Students, taught by DHS Orchestra Program student musicians. A team of friendly, motivated tutors work with students on a set weekly lesson schedule to help students reach their various musical goals and aspirations. Lessons are $20 per session, however scholarships are available upon request to lower or waive this fee. While lessons can still be held virtually over Zoom, we highly encourage that lessons are held in person as there is a clear advantage in sound quality.
The DHS Strings Tutoring Program is always looking for interested students and tutors to join our program.

In addition to lessons, the DHS Strings Tutoring Program offers multiple performances throughout the school year. These concerts are great opportunities for students to show off their hard work and talent while performing side-by-side with their tutor.
